IPB Olympiad Illuminated Pedestrian Crossing Columns
Fisher & Company have again proven that they can design and manufacture an Illuminated Pedestrian Crossing Column that features a unique patent pending aluminium extrusion that provides great versatility for the insertion of 6mm polycarbonate light diffusers down opposing sides. We are excited to introduce this latest innovative product to compliment our existing Belisha Beacon range.
Combining the same aluminium extrusion used in our light bollards, we have developed the IPB – Illuminated Pedestrian Beacon design that delivers a durable long-lasting product at a reduced cost over that of our competitors.
Vandal Resistant Illuminated Pedestrian Crossing Columns
Termination of the incoming supply cable and low energy lamps are installed in an inner column, thus, creating an extremely vandal resistant product – virtually impossible to damage the illumination lamps by way of shaking the external column.
The IPB Olympiad is constructed from a strong aluminium extrusion with polycarbonate lenses and incorporates a galvanized steel wide base. The amber polyethylene globe is attached to the Aluminium Anti-Vandal Gallery with 3no. M8 stainless steel security screws.
The column is internally illuminated with 6 sets of LED’s with total power consumption of approximately 21 watts.
8 watt LED Belisha Beacon
The globe houses our latest 8 watt LED Belisha Beacon.
The unit is despatched in 2 sections -
1 – Illuminated column, Gallery and Globe pre-wired with Female Push-Fit connectors
2 – Base section, either Rooted version or flange mount version and fitted with a Double Pole Fused Isolator pre-wired to an LED driver with Male Push-Fit connectors. The Push-Fit connectors help to speed up the installation process – no wasted time with hard wiring.
